This small village was a prominent part of the first Diablo game, and returning to it will be a sad occasion for all fans of Diablo 1. Early on in Diablo 2: Resurrected, you will get the opportunity to get to Tristram.Running back to Diablo all along the River of Fire causeway, or down to Baal from the Worldstone Keep level 2 is no fun at all, especially if you didn't clear those levels the first time, and it's impossible to kill the monsters blocking your path back to. It's wise to cast a portal in some safe location near the site of a major boss battle, if you think you or others in your party might die.
When I clicked the portal, I went straight to Harrogath no insane-asylum burning down with rats scurrying about and no Barbarian messenger with a strange accent suddenly asploding from Baal's spell. I then asked Tyrael to revive my mercenary (who obviously died during the fight with Diablo), and the portal changed position slightly.The Horadric Cube can be found on the third level.
